What We Do
At On The March, we create German WWII uniforms for the discerning reenactor and collector. If no one makes your size or you need special features, please contact us for a quote.

Please browse our site and let us know if you have any questions or can be of assistance in any way. You can reach us via the form below or email us at info@on-the-march.com.

Made in the USA
We hand-craft each uniform item here in the sewing room, located in the USA. We do not outsource our work, keeping the jobs and money in the free world where they belong.

To all the American (and Canadian!) Soldaten out there:
In today's economy, it's important to support American businesses. Please, buy American (and Canadian)!

NEWS

I am now back in college fulltime.  This means sewing is limited to 2 days per week and the waiting time will increase. Sorry guys, but this is the way it is. If you don't want to wait, then please let me know so I can remove your order from the system.

I will be at Rockford (Sept 23 thru Sept 26) again this year, upstairs in the barn.

Finally got a few more of the Economy Feldblusen in stock.

I now am offering Reiterhosen and officer's tunics. See appropriate pages.

See notice here about recent email woes.

Thanks again to everyone for your patience and support!

About Officer's Tunics and Officer's Conversions

Recently, there has been some confusion about the difference between officer's tunics and officer's conversions. So here's the poop:

For officer's tunics, the construction techniques are the same as a suit coat. They are not simply an enlisted tunic with the full lining added. The interior details that you don't see include the hair canvas interlining, shoulder padding, and sleeve heads. Additionally, the full lining is all hand stitched into place. This is a tremendous amount of labor.

Officer's conversions are enlisted-grade tunics with a few minor alterations.

Although I am no longer making officer's tunics, the
officer's conversions are still available.

Current ETA:  Yikes! The waiting list is approaching a full 24 months long.
"I'm only one person, and I'm sewing as fast as I can!"

Please do not hassle, pester, annoy, harrass, irritate, heckle, disturb, upset, worry, stress, confuse, or poke the caged tailor with a stick!

                            Thank you for your cooperation
