We offer the option of having your feldbluse upgraded for use by officers. You can select any combination of the following features:
turnback cuffs (no extra charge)
officer's style 2-hook roll collar ($35 surcharge)
sewn-in shoulder boards (no extra charge)
deleted lower pockets bellows (sewn-down style--no extra charge)
shorten tunic (no extra charge)
Due to the amount of hand-finishing on the collar, there is a $35 surcharge for the officer's style collar. Otherwise, price is the same as the standard feldbluse. Please note that the officers conversion does not include any insignia. You can send your insignia to us, or we can order it for you.

Description of originals Many versions of the officer's field tunic exist. Officers would often use an enlisted ranks feldbluse, but upgrade it to appear as an officer's tunic. This would save wear and tear on their expensive tailor-made tunics, as there was no officers' issue tunic.
Description of above conversion The above conversion was specified to have a feldgrau wool officer's style collar with two hooks, 15 cm turnback cuffs, and no bellows on the lower pockets. Insignia was provided by the officer. No other modifications were specified.
Conversion and Alteration Service We can convert and alter your tunic. Services offered are:
add officers 2-hook roll collar, either bottle green or feldgrau facing cloth: $75
remove lower pocket bellows: $20
add turnback cuffs: $30
shorten tunic: $20
reduce chest/waist size (there are limits to how much this can be taken in): $50
add award thread loops: $10 per set
sew in shoulder boards or add loops: $20
replace buttons: $5 each using our buttons, choice of officer's silver, officer's painted, or enlisted painted buttons, hand-sewn with heavy cotton thread
